*Childbirth Education is vital to knowing what to expect and what is going on within your body during the entire process. As a result I include a 4 hour Childbirth Education course with my Birth Doula Package at no additional charge.

There are few memories that stick with us for the entirety of our lives in vivid detail, the birth of our child is one of them. Ask any woman who has ever given birth - whether it was yesterday or 45 years ago - she will be able to tell you how she felt, how everything came to be, who said and who did what. It is incredible to see the recall that we have for these memories and I want yours to be a memory you look back on with joy and fondness.

As a Certified Birth Doula I am trained in comfort measures, educational information, and general preparedness for pregnancy, labor, delivery and the immediate postpartum. It is my goal that every mother have a birthing experience that will bring joy every time they recall it. This is best achieved by making sure that they are in control every step of the way. Being informed of any medical interventions that are presented. Feeling confident in the decisions made for them and their baby. Feeling respected, heard, and loved during the duration of their experience - even if things don’t go exactly as planned.

Please note - I do not take the place of your main support if you have one (spouse, significant other, friend, family, etc.) and I will never get between you and them nor try to overstep them. Main Support Person- You know the woman giving birth better than anyone and I respect that - I am there as your support too.
