Hello, and welcome to Nesting Instinct Birth Services!! My name is Rebecca Booth, I have been married to my husband, Lee, since 2013 and we have been blessed with 3 beautiful daughters.

I am certified through International Doula Institute as a Professional Birth Doula, Childbirth Educator, Professional Postpartum Doula, and Breastfeeding Counselor. I service Lafayette, Terre Haute, Crawfordsville, and Indianapolis, IN, as well as Champaign and Danville, IL and everywhere in between. I have experience attending Hospital, Birth Center, and Home Birth deliveries.

I am a Spinning Babies® Provisional Parent Educator. I have completed 38 hours of in person training specific to teaching women how to have a comfortable pregnancy, labor, and delivery. Spinning Babies® is geared towards total body preparation and teaching parents what to do and when during pregnancy and birth.

I love everything about pregnancy, birth and postpartum. I am passionate about this season of life being a wonderful experience for all women. It should be a time of joy, respect, peace and nurturing. A pregnant woman should never feel dismissed or coerced into something, as well as receiving all information on the risks and benefits of any intervention.

Education in the prenatal period, practicing coping mechanisms for labor, understanding your choices and rights in pregnancy and birth, help with breastfeeding, and building a team that you trust and feel safe with is crucial to having the pregnancy, birth, and postpartum experience you desire – whatever that looks like for you.
